Located in Hickory, North Carolina, Henry River Mill Village is an abandoned textile mill village that once housed the labor force for the Henry River Mill Manufacturing Company. Opening in 1905 and operating until 1977, Henry River Mill Village was the quintessential mill town that was born from the idea that creating a community around the mill would optimize the labor force. The mill burned to the ground in 1977, and the laborers abandoned the village. Today, all the remains are houses and the general store that once served the thriving community. Due to the fact that Henry River Mill Village is considered to be one of the most haunted locations in North Carolina, Souls Sisters Paranormal collaborated with Ghost Biker Explorations to determine for ourselves if Henry River Mill Village really is haunted.
